Collin and Hanna Jamieson. The owners of Retro Melt.

Born outside Chicago in Woodstock, Illinois,  Collin Jamieson, owner of Retro Melt is a restaurant professional with more than twenty five years of experience whipping up tasty meals and memorable experiences. He moved to Bozeman with his family as a young kid and was immediately fascinated by the areas’ amazing outdoors. For those formative years, he’d revel in the beauty of Montana, soaking in the fun and embracing all of that original Montanan spirit. 

Collin’s work in every aspect of  the culinary field took root on a trip to France in high school.  As a foreign exchange student in France, Collin fell in love with food and wine, and the culture that surrounds it.  Then, hungry for more professional training and experience, he moved to Portland, Oregon after high school to pursue a restaurant and hospitality management degree from the Le Cordon Bleu Western Culinary Institute.  Polished and inspired Collin set out to work and gain knowledge at some of the best restaurants and resorts in Portland, Big Sky, and Bozeman.

After years working for many successful businesses, Collin felt it was time to take all that  knowledge and put it into a project of his own. He runs Retro Melt with the help and support of his friends and family and most importantly from his loving wife, Hanna. Retro Melt serves the Gallatin Valley and surrounding area residents the freshest and tastiest melts under the Big Sky!
